Benny Sings - I Love You (2005)

Benny Sings is a very talented singer currently based in Amsterdam. His sophomore album, I Love You (Live at The Bimhuis), is a ”light” and fun album that should immediately put you in a good mood. The album was recorded live, but the sound quality is right up there with any studio album. According to Benny, he sought out to make pure “pop” songs for I Love You. To that end, he studied the works and compositions of Burt Bacharach, among others. We’re not exactly sure how to define “pop,” but this is a really cool album. Benny has a unique voice and delivery and his band is very good. Great album to throw on anytime. Your friends will love it too.
